I love the show as well.
Make sure you pause it at the end when the big white screen with black lettering comes up with Chuck Lorre productions at the top. There is usually something funny written there.

The reports are mixed and no one knows how long a 8th season would be. I still would need a long term replacement after any 8th season and this show looks funny.

I thought that it was confirmed for ABC for the final season. I know that they're auctioning off a tour of the sets over the summer on eBay.

I watch it as well. Loved how they got all hyped up over turning on and off lights through various internet routers, and messed with other people's lights.

I agree about Sheldon - he's great. The actor plays him so well - even to the extent that sometimes I want to slap him when he won't stop with the anally-retentive stickler-for-routine stuff.

The scene in the Chinese restaraunt with the argument over dividing the food three ways instead of four was priceless.

I loved the 3D chess set too! And the computer controlling the stereo was great... Penny's why not get one of those universal remotes was hilarious!

I have to agree with that. About two weeks ago they had Sheldon and Leonard debating Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The exact same thing they were debating was a thread in General Science Fiction at that time.

I watched one episode when it started airing here, but I thought it was kinda pathetic humour, and over the top stereotypes. After reading this thread I'm thinking maybe I was too quick to judge, so I've set the series to record and I'll check it out again.

It took me about three episodes to get into it. I really enjoy it now. So, yes, definitely give it a chance.
