Thoughts on Sheldon's Meemaw?
I liked her a lot. She was stern on Amy but eventually relented after she saw how much she meant to Sheldon.
I'm not happy with what they're doing with Raj though.
I didn't like her. I always thought Meemaw as this kind sweet old lady. She was horrible to Amy!
Yeah I guess. I wanted Betty White though!
With Emily they've finally added a character onto the show that loves all the geeky things that Raj (and the rest of the guys by extension) do. I'd hate to see them replace her with a character who knows nothing about comics and looks down upon them like the other female characters do.
I kind of doubt a triangle will happen. Blonde girl said she wasn't interested in Raj. She just wanted to bounce some ideas off him for her screenplay.

The blonde girl was Alessandra Torresani who was last seen (by some of us) as Zoe Greystone in Caprica and who's listed for BBT eps according to her wiki entry.
Don't know why the writers would want to mess around with having Raj go after another girl when he's got Emily. Laura Spencer is main cast for Season 9 so hopefully Claire is only around for a short period of time.
Maybe she will be around to add some drama to Raj's life after all.
OK, that's why she looked so familiar.
I'm open to a lot of different possibilities for storylines, but having a character attracted to someone else when they're in a relationship always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
As someone who had to endure a pretty brutal break up because my partner was cheating on me is not something you easily forget. I know it's not really fair to project my own feelings onto the show in that way, but it's hard not to, when those feelings still feel somewhat fresh to me (even though it was 8 years ago).
Raj constantly talks about how much he wants to break up with Emily, though. She's just a placeholder. Laura Spencer is probably only listed as a regular so they can lock her down for a specific number of episodes. She has infrequent appearances on Bones.
And her Bones character, despite being basically the same person, is way more interesting.

I really think he should break up with Emily, like he was going to last season but chickened out, and then ask Claire out.
