I just learned that Biff Elliot passed away. The first actor to play Mike Hammer and, to us, Schmitter from Devil in the Dark.

As to the poor "Use to Time" comment, every time some well-known person passes I hear people talking about how unusual that "so many" are passing away, but people have been saying this for as long as I can remember, so I don't think it's actually true. We just have short memories for these things.
