I don't think anyone ever thought Justin Timberlake was stupid. I certainly don't remember anyone saying that. People doubted his talent because he came from a boys band, and he proved them wrong. No one is doubting Justin Bieber's skills, although it can be argued that he hasn't fully developed his identity as a performer, but the kid keeps saying the most ridiculously stupid things, and that's what make people tick.

I really don't care what the family of Anne Frank thinks. I've never been concerned that Bieber's little tirade offended anyone, I just thought it was stupid and irresponsible.
I can see stupid, but how is it irresponsible?
I don't agree, I think Anne Frank's story belongs to humanity and I'm relieved and happy for these people if they were not offended by this silly story, but I don't see in what way it is relevant beyond that.
But hey at least a whole lot of kids asked, "who is Anne Frank?"
