Best Vulcan-centric Novel or Series

Spock's World
Sarek
Strangers From The Sky
Unspoken Truth

I'm sure there are others, but I came up with those off the top of my head.
I haven't read Unspoken Truth yet (despite having a copy for like 8 years), but the others are fantastic.

I'd also suggest The Romulan Way for the other side's part of the Vulcan/Romulan split.
I really enjoyed Vulcan's Fury by D.C. Fontana.
Vulcan's Glory. Which is awesome and had some little tidbits of it's Number One backstory cribbed and then put through a blender for SNW.

Vulcan's Fury is that unreleased game from way back when.

Vulcan’s Forge, Vulcan’s Heart, and the Vulcan’s Soul trilogy are a good place to look. They’re as much about the Romulans as the Vulcans, but that’s rather fitting, considering the relationship between the races.

All the books I would have said are above, and I highly rate Spock's World, Sarek, Vulcan's Glory, and Unspoken Truth.

I'm sure plenty of other books go into some detail, especially those featuring Spock, Tuvok, or T'Pol. You might get something from The Autobiography of Mr. Spock, Troublesome Minds, or Crucible: The Fire and the Rose.

Pandora Principle by Carolyn Clowes is an excellent story about Vulcans and Romulans too. It's about Saavik's backstory before the Wrath of Khan.

For me, the greatest Vulcan-centric novel has always been Spock's World by Diane Duane.

This does sound familiar. I may have read it some years ago but refresh my memory please. Is this the book where
Vulcan is deciding whether or not to secede from the Federation?

Yes, that's the one. There is also a lot about Vulcan history.

I remember liking Jean Lorrah's The Vulcan Academy Murders a lot when I was younger. I've been meaning to revisit it. I can't remember if I ever read the sequel The IDIC Epidemic.

I find Vulcan Academy Murders weak as a whodunnit (I first read it at fifteen and guessed the culprit and motive in the first chapter), but as an examination of Vulcan society, I definitely find it has a lot to offer.

IDIC Epidemic does continue on a few threads from it, but I’d also say those are definitely in the backseat in that book.

Strong agreement. I could tell who the killer was going to be before anybody even died, but the Vulcan culture in the book was both believable and extremely likeable.

Ah, then yes I have read that but it's been quite awhile ago. I'm not sure what happened to my copy of it, may have donated it during a move or two back then Still, from what I recall, quite excellent look at Vulcan history and culture.
