Have any of the books or stories dealt with Jadzia before she was joined? In one of the episodes I just watched Jadzia made a reference to her sister, and I realized that was the only thing we ever really learned about Jadzia the host. I don't think the show ever even told us what her original last name was before she became Jadzia Dax, I know I saw something online calling her Jadzia Idaris, or something like that, but I think that came from one of the books.
