Honestly, I expected TOS's season 1 to garner a lot of votes, but never this many. Thats a happy surprise! Its also percurious that, thus far, TNG has garnered, NO votes.
Yep, I can very safely say, that TOS's first season, is in a consensus, the best first season of Trek.

TOS for me as well, with TNG's 1st season being the worst.
Gotta go with Season 1 of Voyager. It was really good.

TOS gets it for me. TNG's first season was trying to be TOS to much and failed miserably at it plus Riker with no beard is no Riker at all. DS9 was decent but I feel like it should have been more serialized. Im not a fan of any of Voyager's seasons, and enterprise was awful till season 4.
I actually liked TNG in it's first season.

TNG was a great show but its first season had so many unforgivable episodes. My least favorite episode of Star Trek is in that season.

yeah ok real suggestions...Ok so they land on this planet with a seemingly reused TOS set, and on it is a shape shifting mud monster. She tries to go around it so it kills her.
