I agree completely and for me, that could only be ST:TMP. I have a lot of fond memories of the anticipation for that first movie and eventually being able to see it on December 23. Good times!
The fact that they killed off Data was such a disappointment... They could have just promoted him and assigned him a different ship if they really didn't want him in the movies anymore, but they just had to kill him off.![]()
he didn't die, he just spent the next 19 years living in a Zx spectrumI just think it sucks that Data finally got the promotion to first officer that he'd spent YEARS earning... and then he died. Arghhh!
I lean toward Generations as well as it does have a Christmas scene.
Probably Trek 4 as it teaches a message and it does have a light-hearted approach unlike the other films. It also deals with time travel. Sound familiar? A Christmas Carol.
You are welcome. Happy to make Tuvok happy. Thats something.Put like that and now that I see a similarity (in a good way), I can't help but to like IV a lot more now. Thanks!
TrekCore.com on Twitter: "Thanks to the new 4K scan of STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME, we can now see that Admiral Kirk and crew arrive in old San Francisco the morning of Thursday, December 18, 1986, and they leave for the future (with whales in tow) one day later. #StarTrek https://t.co/rOAMaDvzYd" / Twitter
