Best trek battle?

Sisko4Life

Commander
Red Shirt
In your opinion, what was the best battle ever captured on screen in trek? I don't know them all and there are too many to list so I didn't do a poll.

Personally, I always loved the Battle of Sector 001 when Starfleet actually destroyed a Cube... Enterprise to the rescue! I mean, the Millenium Falcon was in it!

The Nemesis battle takes the win. Love the shot of the guy getting sucked out of the Enterprise.

My favorites are in DS9. The battle to re-take DS9 was my favorite, followed by the one against the Klingons in The Way of the Warrior

-Enterprise vs. Reliant in the Mutara Nebula from TWOK

-Starfleet and the Klingons vs. Dominion in DS9 "Sacrifice of Angels"

-Enterprise vs. Xindi in ENT "Azati Prime"

I think that last one is actually my favorite. For all of ENT's problems, every once in a while everything came together REALLY well.

DS9 "Tears of the Prophets"

It's got everything. IMO the best battle scene in the series.

I like the battle scene in Enterprise, end of Season 3, Xindi against Xindi. When one of the big aquatic ships came apart ...

I took a different view of the best battle on Trek,

I chose the last Jem Hadar Charge during the "Seige of AR-558"

Its intensity, the music accompanying it even the scene with Quark is moving if you have seen the whole eppy before as he takes up a weapon to defend his wounded nephew during the charge.

As a vet i still get chills watching it, during the battle and again when Sisko is speaking to Reese.

Sisko : "...We held"

Reese : "Those were our orders sir"

No excitement nor jubilation just exhaustion and unspoken commitment.

The one's I liked:

Balance of Terror
TWOK
Nemesis
TUC

Not so much for the battle but for the visuals of the Enterprise in the Briar Patch INS

Ooooh, where to start?

-Basics, Part 1: I loved all the prep-time the crew used, and even then against big odds, they nearly won.

-The Jem Ha'Dar: Easily one of the best paced battles out there, with an ending that had more jaw-dropping shock than most cliffhangers on TV.

-The Way of the Warrior, Klingon Fleet Vs. DS9: Finally, what the fanboys were all clamoring for. Plus, if you can get over some inane tactical decisions (why not beam ALL your troops onto the command station, Gowron?) pretty good direction once the battle moves in-doors. The music also went surprisingly well with the fight.

-Sacrifice of Angels: The Biggest. That alone means it should be on this list.
