TNG - Data (although I had a hard time choosing, I like so many characters there ) - so it appears we have one "the best" in common

DS9 - Kira

VOY - Janeway

ENT - no one to be called "the best". But I like Archer and Reed, though I wouldn't classify them as "best"

What is the point of the poll? To say whether we like those characters, or whether we think they're the best on their shows?

Chekov - definitely not. He's probably my least favorite (semi-)regular character on that show. Favorite is Spock.
Data - maybe. It's between him and Picard.
Jadzia Dax - I like her, but she wouldn't be in my top 6, maybe not even top 8 (Kira, Odo, Dukat, Garak, Quark and Sisko would certainly come before her, probably O'Brien and Damar as well).
Seven of Nine - maybe. She was one of the better characters on the show, together with EMH.
Hoshi - no. I like most characters on ENT, more or less, but Hoshi is my second least favorite on ENT, after Mayweather - nothing against her, except that she was very underdeveloped. My favorite is T'Pol. I also quite like Phlox, Archer, Trip, Reed, Soval, Shran and Degra... maybe even Cutler.

Hoshi was cool in the mirror episodes, but seemed generic in the other ones I saw her in. I hate everyone on "Voyager" except Q. It was fun to see he and Janeway interact, but most of the time she and the other characters just bored me. Jadzia Dax is by far my all-time favourite Star Trek character out of all the shows.
