I am currently moving through Season 2 (I will be watching The Siege tonight). What are the best Season 2 eps according to you and/or most Niners? (so I can know what to look forward to)

That's just personal though, I don't think I've ever seen anyone else mention Paradise, so maybe no one else likes it, I don't know...

IMO:
The Circle trilogy
Cardassians
Necessary Evil
Whispers (a standlone episode, but a brilliant one)
The Maquis I/II - starts an important storyline that will continue in next seasons
The Wire
The Jem'Hadar - season 1 finale - starts an extremely important storyline
also worth mentioning for one reason or another:
Profit and Loss - one of the better Quark episodes
Blood Oath - you'll like it if you like Klingons, specifically TOS Klingon characters who return in this episode
Crossover - the first Mirror Universe episode (I despised most of the Mirror episodes in DS9, but I know there are lots of other people who like them..and, after all, whatever else they are, they wre certainly fun)
The Collaborator - more Bajoran politics, occupation and religious leaders stuff
Tribunal - the annual "O'Brien must suffer" episode

Rivals (generally not a popular episode, however, Quark cracks me up in this with another brilliant performance by Shimerman, so I love it because of him, despite the bad plot)

Season 2 IMO is very strong, especially in the light of the fact it is generally dismissed by a lot of people (even some hard core Niners).
Anyways, for my money the strongest episodes are:

Invasive Procedures
Cardassians
Necessary Evil
The Alternate
Whispers
Profit and Loss
Blood Oath
The Maquis Pt 1 and 2
The Wire
Crossover
The Collaborator
Tribunal
The Jem Hadar
And Playing God had so many great elements to it in relation to the character of Dax and life on the station that it's a huge pity the proto-universe plot so thoroughly derailed it. A sort of 'day in the life of Dax' theme would probably have worked so much better. Oh well ...
