In a series with so many great recurring players who was the greatest?

Garak hands down for me

This list is incredibly long. I had a hard time to pick my favorites....

And I forgot to vote for Ziyal. A crying shame. I once considered to create a list like that but refrained from doing so..... for obvious reasons.

Garek. Lots of appearances - mostly good ones and he had some of the best lines in the series. I can never again hear a reference to "the boy who cried wolf" without laughing maniacally...

Garak. Many great recurring characters, and he was the greatest.

I voted for Garak too. He's one of the best characters in the entire franchise and played by one of the best actors who also managed to be given dialogue and stories written by some of the best writers.

I also voted for Dukat, Winn, The Female Changeling, Damar, Weyoun and The Intendant. Love me some villains.

I voted for several, but my first two votes were Weyoun, and then Garak.

I always miss that these are multiple choice polls until it's too late. Anyway, Garak is the clear winner but I've got to give a shout out to Nog, Dukhat, Winn, Weyoun and Damar. Nog and Damar had great character arcs with strong motivation and just overall felt believable. Dukhat, Winn and Weyoun played some of the best villains Star Trek ever had. There are some other great characters on this list too but it would take too long to talk about all of them.

I voted for Weyoun but I just as easily could have voted for Garak or Kai Winn instead. They are all the best since they are each perfect at what they do.

I'm excluding Dukat from that list because the writers ruined him in Season 6 & 7, although that's certainly no fault of the actor who played him, who was uniformly great.
