Best place to post fanfic

I second Hope Station Repository. Fanfiction.net sucks. And, you can post it here, too. ;-) And on the Omega Sector BBS.

What is the problem with fanfiction.net ?

No quality control, audiences that tend to be more teenagers or very, very young adults, lots of flame wars and infighting. I used to be a staff columnist for the site, so have gotten to see it when it was still new and good, and then watch it fall into a state of despair.

*takes a minute* Steff, from subreality. Huh. There's that six degrees of separation thing again. (No, you wouldn't remember me - I spent all my time lurking around the subcafe crowd). And my login became my userhandle on this board after the last site conversion, which doesn't help. *trundles off to check out the Omega BBS* (It seems like a nice place)

::grins:: It was a long time ago that I was steady in #subcafe, though every couple of years I'll pop into there and check in on folks. I still fairly often think about it, though, and Kielle crosses my mind when I least expect her to, even three years after she died.

I was never that huge in Subreality, but it's nice to meet a former Subrealizen here.
