Best order to read TNG books

Yeah, there didn't start being any real integrated continuity in TNG until after Nemesis came out, with the A Time To... series. (The books you mentioned in ^ this post are all after that, and do interrelate; not so the pre-Nemesis novels.) If you're interested in following some kind of order, either of those links is fine, but frankly it doesn't matter at all. You obviously want to read Imzadi before Imzadi II, and you want to read Reunion before The Valiant, but aside from that the books are not really related at all.
I have a question and I don't want to open another thread about it - is it necessary to read the A Time To... books before you start with the post-Nemesis books?

The A Time To... books sort of lead into Articles Of The Federation, more than anything else; the TNG books afterwards oddly basically ignored them. And even then, you only need to read the last three.

I would recommend reading the last three, though, because they're awesome.

A Time to... introduces the most important Titan crewmember (not counting Riker and Troi), so if you're intersted in gettting to know that character's arc beforehand and seeing how she came to be onboard, then at least the last few ATT books are a good idea.

If you mean who I think you do, she was actually around before ATT. She first appeared in the first SCE story (I think).

Q & A didn't ignore them at all....

True. But the other three did. And since Before Dishonor pretty much ignored Q&A too, it mostly felt like Q&A was accidentally a part of that group of novels, all of which were proceeding on their own.

It was a weird bunch of books.
