Best of the Worst Nominations please

Outside of Crichton and Aeryn, the rest of the cast just had simplistic and uninteresting personalities. D'Argo is an angry brute with a soft cuddly heart, Dominar is a greedy pig, Bialar seems to fill Dukat's role in DS9 except he's much less interesting and I can't stand Jool's screeching and whining. Something goes wrong, everyone (including the entire audience) looks at Rigel. D'Argo just fights his way out of all situations. While funny, all these elements just made the show too predictable to keep my interest.

Overall, I guess you could say I did not like over half the cast and their constant bickering over the smallest of issues.

Sure, I can buy that you (and others) didn't care for some or most of the cast..... I've found that Farscape isn't for everyone. A good friend at work who really likes Sci-Fi watched the whole series not too long ago and I was surprised that he didn't take to it like he did other shows. He seems to enjoy the more straight-forward approaches to Sci-Fi like Stargate SG1 and ST:TNG. Nothing wrong with that......just a matter of taste preference really.

Anyway, I was just responding to the "childish" description you used which having read this really meant that you thought some of the characters were too 1 dimensional and predictable. I may not agree with your assessment, but at least now I understand it.

What's your least favorite decision/choice made on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

'Cordelia' in Angel S4. She deserved so much better than that, and that the viewer was led on as to her real nature for the better part of a season is unforgivable. I know that there were real world considerations and all, but Christ. And I actually liked Jasmine and most of how S4 unfolded. Even Connor's arc wasn't without merit. But what they did to Cordelia... /sigh

What's your least favorite Male character from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?
Apollo (nuBSG)

What's your least favorite Female character from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?
Starbuck (nuBSG)

What's your least favorite Episode from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?
By Any Other Name (SeaQuest DSV)

What's your least favorite Season from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?
Heroes Season 3

What's your least favorite Show that you've seen more than 1 season of? (And why did you keep watching it?? )
Heroes. I kept hoping it would get better. What a waste of time. I don't think I'll ever rewatch the first season again either.

What's your least favorite decision/choice made on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?
Tie between Wesley's higher plane of existence crap on TNG and Kurn's memory being erased on DS9.

Why didn't I think of that one? Yes, that was awful... I know that they had to hide CC's real life pregnancy, but really, anything else would've probably been better.

What's your least favorite Male character from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Mohinder, Heroes. Possibly the most useless character I can think of. The only interesting thing he ever did was channel Jeff Goldblum briefly in season 3.

What's your least favorite Female character from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Granny, Farscape. Holy cripes. This character might have been slightly more tolerable if she were a muppet.

What's your least favorite Episode from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

The Muse, Deep Space 9.

What's your least favorite Season from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

The X-Files, Season 7. This one is particularly brutal because Season 6 was pretty strong.

Honorable mention to Heroes Season 4 but I kind of already knew the show was terrible by then.

What's your least favorite Show that you've seen more than 1 season of? (And why did you keep watching it??)

Heroes, I guess. Though I feel like I'm forgetting something. Heroes would still be in my top 20 TV shows if you only consider the first season (all other seasons are non-canon in my reality).

What's your least favorite decision/choice made on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Ending Lost the way it ended. I thought the message of the show was that life is ambiguous and that there are no easy answers but the producers had something else in mind.

Honorable mentions (no particular order)

1. The disbanding of the Moya crew at the end of S3 of Farscape. Didn't really seem to serve any purpose except to make the next few episodes boring and disjointed.

2. Red-eyed Dukat (this is a good one)

3. Troi-Worf. wtf? At least they recanted this eventually.

4. "The black oil" in the X-Files. This is the point at which the mythology turned sour.

5. Humanization of the Borg. I'd even go so far as to retcon I, Borg because of all the damage it caused.

6. Several things in Heroes post-S1: 1) De-powering of several characters 2) Rehashing the plot from season 1 3) Lack of super-battles

Harry Kim. Just had nothing to him. Travis mayweather was more interesting. Although Phlox started out worse, JB acted him into a tolerable character.

What's your least favorite Female character from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Buffy. Sorry-just never got it. Hated SM Gellar from the word "Go".

What's your least favorite Episode from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Star Trek: Voyager's "Threshold". Something with the mass of a shuttle traveling infinitely fast, turning people into salamanders.-Agree with this.

What's your least favorite Season from any Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

Heroes S2-drove me insane going no where.

Heroes- I wanted to like it so much after S 1 but.....

What's your least favorite decision/choice made on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy show?

The removal of Kes instead of Neelix on Voyager.
Kes was interesting. Neelix was comic relief-and the Dr was much better at that.

Unsurprisingly,it seems that Heroes is definitely going to win the "What's your least favorite show that you've seen more than 1 season of?" category...
