Why is BOBW called what it is wouldn't something like 'one among us' have been better, I just don't see why its called BOBW.
The Borg assimilate biology and technology together in their attempt to achieve perfection, the best of both worlds (artificial and organic).
Riker wants to be captain of his own ship, yet also wants to remain aboard the Enterprise. In these eps, he gets to do both, he has the best of both worlds.
A major dilemma in these eps seems to be that either Picard can be rescued and saved from the Borg, or Earth can be saved. At the climax of Part One, Riker must choose one or the other: stop the Borg (kill Picard) OR save Picard (Borg go free).
As we know, Riker was able to do both: save Picard AND save Earth. He got the best of both worlds.

Because the Borg wanted the human technology as well as their own. Its something of a dark title too, because you could interpret it as the Borg's view of Locutus or Locutus' view after becoming Borg.
