Best of Both Worlds, Part 2 question

BorgNoEarlGreyYes

Cadet
Newbie
About halfway through the episode, Riker communicates with Locutus (a.k.a.
Picard-full-of-tubes) and after ending the communication, he gives a command ending with "scrambler code, Riker one". The word "one" has clearly been dubbed over the word "zero" which you can see both Riker and the ensign mouthing. Why?

It made them sound like the Borg if they used zero-based notation? Given the makers often went to UNIX for analogues to the show's fictional processes, even Borg sleepy-time mode (and done in a clever way), they probably realized after filming that "one" sounded less "nerdy".
