Best novel(s)?

I'm flattered to be listed by so many of you. But I'll just chalk it up to short memories not recalling the greatness of John Vornholt, Daffyd ab Hugh, Diane Duane, and many others who were writing great Trek novels before I ever put pen to paper ... :-)

Not to knock on any of the recent work, but I also noticed almost all the books being listed are pretty recent... I still enjoy a lot of the older books, even if it's hard to connect them with 'newer' continuity. Diane Carey's Final Frontier is still among my (if not the top) favorites. Enterprise: The First Adventure, First Frontier, Crossover, and the Rhiannsu books are all favorites as well.

TOS: "The Entropy Effect", "Strangers from the Sky", "Final Frontier", "Uhura's Song", "Prime Directive", "Ex Machina"

TNG: "Metamorphosis", "Vendetta", "Section 31: Rogue", "Immortal Coil"

DS9: "Fallen Heroes", "The 34th Rule", "A Stitch in Time", "Andor: Paradigm"

VOY: "Captain's Table: Fire Ship", "Mosaic"

NF: "Captain's Table: Once Burned", "Stone and Anvil".

I'll put in for The Janus Gate trilogy by L.A. Graf
