Best looking TOS yeoman?

A friend of mine came by while "The Man Trap" was on the tube. He took one look at Yeoman Rand and said "What's up with that enormous Beehive hairdo?".
What's up? Most of Rand's hair, obviously. ;)

IMO, the best-looking man in TOS was Spock, hands down.

(Oh, wait--he wasn't a man, he was a Vulcan. Wait--he had his fingers outstretched in the traditional salute. Wait . . . ;) )
Of course he was a man, he just wasn't a human. ( well not fully)
Spock didn't consider himself a man, per "Amok Time":
KIRK: But you're not a fish, Mr. Spock. You're--
SPOCK: No. Nor am I a man. I'm a Vulcan.
(But only half--denial is not a river in Egypt. Poor Spock!)

"Man" in this context means human, Kirk (and McCoy) have a rather human-centric out look at times, forgetting that Spock isn't human. His biology/phisiology is not like theirs.

Wondering why Sulu runs after Don Juan in Shore Leave after Barrows is attacked?? hmmm.

To paraphrase McCoy, "Spock's heart is where his liver should be." or something like that.
Yes, but a few episodes later he pointed out its location on his own body, and bapped himself just above his left kidney. Sometimes I wonder if he actually knew before he had to operate on Sarek.

Unquestionably, Yeoman Barrows.
It's funny, I Googled Yeoman Barrows and got all of these photomanips!
Clearly other people thought she was beautiful as well.

I LOVE the Yeoman in TMP in the transporter room!! "He insisted we go first Sir, said something about first seeing how it scrambled our molecules."

How about that dark haired yeoman with the legs that mysteriously appeared on the mission to Space station D-7? And then she mysteriously disappeared. And she hung around with that black Command officer dude that was bald and had a goatee. He mysteriously disappeared also, after talking to the Captain.

Since I just posted this photo in another thread...

Isn't she just the greatest? Look at how she's even lovingly gazing up at my profile picture! :adore:

So naturally the first thing I did when I read this post was to google yeoman barrows. Oh my, some lovely photo shop. Very old school , 50s era styles, I might add. a Very creative individual worked hard on that.

Most of the manips I've seen of her are not very good. Typically her head is out of proportion with her body.

A number of years ago when some friends & I were playing a TOS movie era Star Trek role-playing game, I created a doctor character who was a nephew of Tonia Barrows & a protegee of Dr. McCoy. I Googled her character to make sure my character's bio jibed with what had been done with her, and one of the very first things I found was Tonia Barrows/McCoy slash fiction. :wtf:

I don't know if she was a yeoman, but Marlena Moreau was hot. She looked hot in both universes. She "seems like a nice, likable girl."

Did the practice of captains having a personal yeoman cease during the TNG era? I don't remember Picard ever having a personal yeoman. I guess the holodeck stimulation, er, simulation made up for Picard not having a personal yeoman.
