Can anyone name good books featuring Beverly and LaForge as main characters? Also many things from Sisko's past remain still mysterious....

Metamorphosis - Data
I haven't read Metamorphosis, so for me the definitive Data novel is Immortal Coil.

I think you've got your titles mixed up, Q2 is the Voyager episode with Q's son. Do you mean Q-Squared?

Can't think of anything focusing squarely on Beverly, but we do have Indistinguishable from Magic for Geordi.

Brinkmanship and The Missing both feature Crusher more heavily than the average Trek novel.

Indeed, I mixed up the titles, I meant Q-Squared....;)

I didn't like IFM, but for Geordi we have the Genesis Wave books.....

I've still never read Death in Winter, when it came out the overall reaction here seemed to be "meh", and I wasn't at a point where I read every TNG relaunch book like I do now. I have thought about going back and reading it, and Resistance, which I also skipped due to the reaction on here.

Loyalties- Beverly Howard

Capture The Flag- Geordi LaForge

Sarek - Sarek

Chrysalis - Tuvok

The Captain’s Daughter- Hikaru Sulu

Just saw “Whom Gods Destroy” on SPACE last night and it had Captain/Lord Garth in it.

And there was the “Garth of Izaar” book.

I've heard that if Steve Ihnat hadn't passed away that Garth might have been the baddie in ST2 rather than Khan.

I'm glad they didn't go that route. Garth was cured at the end of the episode. Granted, treating mental illness as something that can be easily cured is really simplistic, but at least it's more optimistic and positive than the tendency of fiction to treat it as something that dooms a person to perpetual relapses into villainy.

I never did enjoy the Garth episode. I only watched some of it the other night because I was flipping through channels and there was nothing else on.
