Best Bond pre-credit sequences

Even though I'm not a fan of the Moore films, I always loved the opening of The Spy Who Loved Me. When he opens the Union Jack chute, and the Bond theme plays, that was always a killer, from when I first saw it in the theater.

I love what they did with the gunbarrel shot in Casino Royale.

All of Brosnan's were good but my favorite is Goldeneye.

"So sorry. Forgot to knock."

"Half of everything is luck."
"And the other half?"
"Fate."

For Your Eyes Only - The first minute of this is excellent, for once acknowledging Bond's past, and Moore plays it well. Then it gets very very silly (and crucially, not funny), and makes a mockery of Blofeld's character.

Agreed. That's a good way to explain it-- silly but not funny. Unfortunately, this kinda sours me on the rest of the film, despite assurances from everyone else that it's Moore's best.
