Best Bond Fights

^I think Sir Sean throws a headbutt or two (Glasgae kiss! I've got to remember that), but point taken

Well I used to think Dalton was the first Bond to headbutt an opponent (he nuts the guy in the landrover in the pre-title sequence of The Living Daylights) but watching Moonraker again the other week I noticed that Roger Moore does it! Ok so he headbuts Jaws in the face, which is a stupid thing to do, but he does do it.

To be honest I don't recall Connery ever doing that...

^I thought that he did, but I may be thinking of "Never Say Never Again", where in the opening sequence, he headbutts one of the kidnappers in the training exercise. I'll have to rack my brain to see if I can come up with an instance where he does it in the "mainstream" Bond films.

Ah now you mention it that does ring a bell, though if he didn't do it in an official Bond film it still makes Moore the first 007 to headbutt someone.

There are all sorts of wonderful facts and figures around Bond films though, I remember when Casino Royale came out and they said it was the first Bond film where its actually raining!

^Man, that's really gonna tax my creaky memory. Cool observation, though. I'll have to look at the write ups on CR and see what other "Bond firsts" there may be.

The fight between the mook and the red shirt in The Living Daylights is my favourite. It was so cool to see such an elaborate fight scene between two random NPCs. It reminded me of the fight scene in "The Doomsday Machine" only better.

The Bond vs Necros fight in The Living Daylights was one of the few times while watching a Bond movie that I was genuinely on the edge of my seat. I love them, but since you know Bond's always going to win there's not always a huge amount of tension. It was being able to tell that they had real people hanging out of the back of a real plane that made it work. (The stuntman playing Bond apparently got knocked out while trying to get back into the hold; they cut away just before he slams into the underside of the fuselage as the net whips about. Fortunately, he recovered mid-fall and was able to pop his chute.)

I've always liked the fight with the oversized Japanese security guard in You Only Live Twice. That guy was built like a sumo wrestler.
