Best Bad Guy in ENT

commodore64

Vice Admiral

Who was the most entertaining, evil, arch-nemesis like bad guy that ENT ever faced? I can think of a few good ones that have popped over the years, including Shran ... who ended up to be a good guy.

I also liked Soval in many seasons.

You?

I quite liked Paxton, though I wish he would of been on screen longer than the two episodes we had.

Demons/Terra Prime was originally supposed to be a 3 parter, but Beavis and Butthead insisted on writing the last episode.

I had completely forgotten about Empress HO-shi. Anyone who kills after sex is certainly worthy of a top spot in the villain hall of fame.

To be honest, despite my love for Mirror Hoshi, I have to go with Silik. I just loved to hate him. He also wasn't a just a cutout from a piece of bad guy cardboard either. Over the seasons, he grew into this complex character who thought what he was doing was right. And sometimes his agenda clashed with Archer's, sometimes it didn't. Either way it made his motives and Future Guy's very interesting. Are they good? Are they bad? To bad we will never really know.

Just to go with a character not already mentioned, I liked the guy who played the Alien Foreman in "The Xindi" (the guy with the bad emphysema). He presented a nice "matter of fact" malevolence that was punctuated by the breathing problem. You could tell this guy didn't have the time or breath to waste on chest thumping monologuing. He just got right down to the unvarnished dirty dirty.

I loved how he showed Archer and Reed the severed finger like it was nothing. Definitely a sign that this season would be darker, both thematically and graphically.
