Best and Worst Kurt Russell Movie [using the CBOOIMDB system]

Love Tombstone.

My mom's favorite movie used to be Overboard. It was the ONLY comedy she liked. She's a big fan of Kurt and Goldie.

Kudos to Kurt Russell being the kid that kicked Elvis in the shin in It Happened At The World's Fair in 1963. Also kudos to his habit of homaging that connection with 1979's Elvis and 3000 Miles to Graceland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP3UfSFpbUM Another Elvis connection--Elvis met Goldie Hawn because Laugh In was being filmed right next to the '68 Comeback Special.

His best appearance ever? (Kurt Russell's first movie appearance): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_gHXislVCU

He also tried out for the part of Han Solo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nix_PID3oiA

Plus, you got to like Kurt/Goldie's long-standing super-couple status.

The Thing is an excellent film. It should be higher on that list. I don't think Tombstone is nearly as good as it could be, considering the talent involved and the ambitions stated on the documentaries that come with the DVD. But it's still an okay film.
