Best 360 WWII Call of Duty Game?

What's the best WWII-Era Call of Duty game on 360? There's like five of them, right? I haven't played any of them yet.

I know the "Modern Warfare" games are really popular, but I always associated that name with WWII...

There are three Call of Duty games set during World War II that are on the Xbox 360: Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty: World at War. IMO, Call of Duty 2 is the best of the trio.

Yeah, CoD 2 is the best of that bunch, WaW and CoD3 are Treyarch turds.

CoD 2 is the best, hands down. I thought WaW was pretty good, at least better than CoD 3.

I don't think any of the old games hold up unfortunately. CoD1 is up on the XBLA marketplace as well, if you want to try the demo.

I'm not on X-Box Live I'm pretty sure I played COD1 on Gamecube back in the day. I'll have to get COD2 at some point!

Oh yeah, you're on PS3, right? Call of Duty Classic is up on PlayStation Network, too, IIRC.

No, I'm on 360, I just don't have XBL. I was on dial-up internet until a year ago, and I'm not big on multi-player death match, so....
