What's your favorite 2014 Science Fiction or Fantasy book that you've read (not favorite book you've read in 2014)?!
I think it's been a pretty good year. I really liked Pierce Brown's Red Rising. It was very much in that Hunger Games vein, but unique enough that I didn't feel like it was a generic dystopian rip-off. I also really enjoyed Scalzi's Lock-In. It's a classic "what-if" science fiction novel that explores how society would adapt to one big event or change, in this case a not insignificant portion of the world's population developing a disorder where they are conscious, but entirely paralyzed to the point they appear comatose. Essentially it's an old fashion detective story, but with a scifi twist.
Also, anything particular anyone is looking forward to reading in 2015?
