Haven't seen this since it first aired, I'll be curious to see what it's like after 25+ years.
I just remembered this was on, just in time for "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys." It's a pretty good one so far, allowing for the cheesy flying effects. But Robert Culp is the real superhero of this show. His ad-libs and mannerisms as Bill Maxwell really brought the show to life.
Me.Tom Cruise is crazy and short, and Mel Gibson is crazy and drunk. Can't play the Patriot and can't play Born on the Fourth of July and they've become just that big enough assholes that you have to wonder who is the Greatest American Hero?
Well, it is the Fourth of July...As much as I still like the show, I wonder what 'SyFy''s motivation was in the marathon? It seems they tossed old kitschy like this out of their lineup a long time ago-and then replaced it with Wrestling!
What I'm wondering is why Connie Sellecca was absent for much of the early second season. The marathon just went through three or four episodes in a row where she was missing.
