Being Erica - The 4th Season

I like it that we all just assume that Erica is going to be a good Doctor and not make massively huge and awesome blunders and &^%$-ups. I saw this therapist on another show last week who prescribed incest with the heroes adopted brother to correctly channel her misgivings about constantly being abandoned and betrayed.

Erica isn't together.

It's going to be amazing if Dinosaurs or the Hun ain't ruling the planet by the end of week one.

Actually, I'd be hesitant to make the show revolve around Sarah's side. I'd like to see Sarah's therapy from Erica's Perspective as a doctor and get more background on The Doctors.

Just curious, I read that there are 12 episodes in this season and Dr. Erica is episode 11. Does that mean episode 12 is yet another "christmas special"?

In the final episode, Erica got a "feeling" that the patient was about to appear, but a few episodes ago, we saw Dr. Naadiah recomending a list of names to Tom. Seems like an inconsistency.

Billions of people praying for help, there has to be some sort of filter that stops everyone trying to get couch time with a doctor? Maybe Erica is only being bonded with those patients her superiors are allowing a connection with?

First minute on the job, Erica is too green to vet her own patients.

Nadia and Tom looked through the applicants and decided to let one through Erica's "shields" and meld with her emotionally to begin the process.

In time, with experience, she can be allowed into the process.

Odd.

If this isn't about angels and heaven, or the matrix, my third theory about what's going is about time travel as a weapon that destroyed the Earth and the soldiers left over didn't have any generals to give them any more stupidly genocidal orders, so they rebuilt the wasteland and thought about making a perfect world one person at a time rather than just destroying their mother countries enemies until they could sleep secure at night.

No one is this sappy and happy without covering up some dark shit in their past.

I got the impression the list of patients was for Dr. Tom. Maybe the first patient works differently? I can't imagine him being a-okay with Erica's first patient being his daughter.

Really enjoyed the finale. There were a lot of great moments throughout, though I'd love to see another season with Erica as Sarah's therapist. I'd like to see how she'd juggle her job at 50/50 with being on call as a therapist, seemingly 24/7. And I suppose it's an advantage that she's in a relationship with Adam, who's familiar with the therapy and time-travel stuff -- she wouldn't have the added burden of having to lie or keep secrets from him, as Tom was worried about having to do with Rebecca.

Here's a heads up. Erin Karpluk is starring in a Christmas movie called Christmas Lodge on Showcase. I just caught it. It's likely to play again within the next few days.

I just saw a very young, impossibly thin Erin with the wrong accent in an old Christmas movie called "The Snow Globe."

And I'm thinking, hells, this is just like timetravel observing such an ittybitty rendition of "Erica".

I saw that a few weeks ago. Sort of. It didn't look very good, but I kept it on in the background just to see Erin.

Pretty much standard fare as far as Made for TV Christmas movies go, but I thought it was pretty sweet.

It really freaks you out when you put on a Supernatural dvd and see Erin with Sam and Dean.

The picture was in the season 3 thread.
