I started playing Legacy again. I was wathcing some youtube vids of it so I dusted the CD off. When I first bought it I really did not like it. The came was slow on my P4 HT and the game was just glitchy. Even after the patch I also was not real happy with the graphics or controls.
Since I have a faster notebook I thought I would try it again. First I downloaded a new mod for it. http://legacy.filefront.com/file/NEW_All_In_One_The_Ultimate_Universe;83359
The mod makes the ships look and act a lot better. It also has some new single player missions. Controls still bug me but I having real fun with this game.

You can relieve some of those controls trouble considerably by using a wired 360 joypad, if you have one that is, if not the games controls are a mess on the PC.

I clocked it on the 360 and had a good time while I did so, but there's like no-one playing it on multiplayer, and I'm not sure how much fun it would be if there were!

I've got it on PC. Finally got a computer good enough to run it (having had it for a few months), finished the first mission and haven't touched it in about 10 weeks. THe controls are just awful and there's nothing at all compelling about it other than the voiceovers - and I'm not suffering through a bad game just for that.
