Any other Beautiful South fans here?
I just found out Paul Heaton is releasing his second (first?) solo album, The Cross Eyed Rambler and doing a tour. I'm looking forward to it, it's supposedly got quite a fresh sound to it.

Yeah, I've got 4 of their albums (and will pick one or two more up in the coming months seeing that several online retailers are selling their back catalogue at very reasonable prices ). I was wondering when he'd get round to doing another solo album (his first one came out under the alias of 'Biscuit Boy aka Crackerman' quite a few years ago), as he's a talented songwriter.

Yeah, I have Fat Chance. I recently found out Dave Hemingway has a solo album that's only been released on iTunes, called Hello Cruel World. I bought it but I'm not overly impressed, sounds kinda amateurish. I prefer Dave Rotheray's band, Homespun, I have all 3 of their albums.
