Bea Arthur of Maude, Golden Girls -- RIP

Damn. Heard this while I was out and about this afternoon. This is one of those I've been dreading for a while now. Bea Arthur has always been one of my all time favorites. Truly a shame. Gonna miss her something awful. RIP.

:(

Ah, the queen of the reaction shot. I forget sometimes just how old Bea and Betty White actually are. Hard to believe they're both 86 even thoug they've been around my whole life and heck Betty is still pretty active on the tube.

I didn't even realize she was older than her TV mom Sophia (Estelle Getty). Condolences to her family, and may she rest in peace. Thank you indeed for being a friend and for providing us countless hours of entertainment.

Both of the wonderful actresses will be missed. R.I.P.:(

Rose: Why, oh why can't grief take a holiday?

Dorothy: Oh, it does Rose, it does. Eventually, it comes to Miami like everyone else.

I have some nice memories of watching Golden Girls and Maude. She certainly was a spitfire and really knew what she was doing.
Rest in peace, Ms. Bea Arther. Here's to you. *Raises glass*.

:(

I made a video once where I needed a montage of pictures of hot college girls, and I stuck her picture in there at random. Got a huge laugh. She will be missed!

I loved her in the Golden Girls. Her sarcastic wit and charm literally made me laugh so hard sometimes. It was REALLY sad when I heard she passed away on the 25th. She was a legend and without her the Golden Girls wouldn't be the smash hit that it was in the 80s. I was very little when this show first came out but have been watching the re-runs for years. To hear of her death really threw me for a loop cause I had no idea she was ill or had cancer. What I did know, however, was that she was doing broadway hit shows before her death. She will be missed..my prayers go out to her family and co-stars of GG. May she rest in peace.
