^Thanks. At this point we actually hope it is cancer. If it's paraneoplastic syndrome causing her neurological symptoms, then when the cancer is treated the symptoms will cease. If it is cancer, it would be in the very early stages and therefore likely very treatable. If it is not cancer the other likely causes are horrible: early onset Alzheimer's (very early, she's only 48) or Huntington's disease, along with some other rare genetic disorders.
^^ Well, I feel weird hoping for cancer, but you're right; it's a better alternative. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the best possible outcome, whatever it is.
God and those around me. I am thankful that I am no longer agoraphobic and am extroverted and have lots of friends. I am thankful that I have a nice house to live in. I am thankful that I have been called and know what I need to do. I am thankful that God has seen fit to keep me around, up til now at least! I am thankful for the kindness and love that those around me have given me!
