BBC Upcoming Drama

I'm still hoping that Gene Hunt will get blind drunk, fall down a flight of stairs and wake up in 2010...
Oh, my, that would be too awesome for words. :D

It could potentially be very funny. One of the TV channels used Philip Glenister for a chrimbo ad campaign (can't remember what for but there were lots of big names in it) and he decided to do it Gene Hunt style. It was a bit odd seeing the great man wandering about in a modern shopping mall.

Since I didn't know that, it only goes to show they should have stuck to their Shirley Bassey/Bond themed ones. They were superb.

Great news re: Outcasts, really looking forward to it!

Just when it appeared as though all hope was gone.

Did M&S have to change it after complaints.

Yeah, he said something about giving your missus a big package on Christmas day morning...or something along those lines

News on casting in Outcasts

From Digital Spy

Outcasts
follows a diverse group of people who are living in a small town on a fictional planet that has been colonised by humans. These pioneers are helping build a new community far away from their loved ones and are optimistic about their future, but the planet holds many mysteries which threaten to destroy the fragile peace.

The cast includes Hermione Norris (Spooks), Danny Mays (Ashes To Ashes), Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and Ashley Walters (Small Island).

The series is currently being filmed in South Africa for transmission in the Autumn on BBC One.

First time I've heard of Outcasts - it seems like an interesting concept anyway. I'm hoping it doesn't get too hokey like Survivors though.

Really looking forward to Outcasts now, looks quite good solid casting.

Danny Mays is now officially the TV Sam Worthington (he's in everything!)

I'm fascinated to see how they do The Crimson Petal and the White. I expect the scene where she squirts water out her vagina to entertain her patron will be slightly edited.

I do love a BBC 4 drama but must say I am surprise to see the BBC doing a drama about Coronation street.

Merlin? MI-5! I'm still waiting on the last two seasons of 'Spooks'. There's actually a lot of older Brit shows that I'd like to get on DVD or at least rent. I never finished the Inspector Lynley shows, Bramwell looks neat, One Foot in the Grave, Black Books. I can't get into Rosemary and Thyme, but I love the Vicar of Dibley and Ab Fab.

you were expecting ITV to make a darma about one of its own shows? What kind of crazy world are you living it?

ITV has The Extra Factor, and the 11th weekly episode of Emmerdale to air, the schedule is full.
