BBC release Episode One Prologue

Yes, they were originally introduced in The Brain of Morbius, but I think sjsharksfan39 means in the current show. We've only seen them in this prologue and Night of the Doctor mini-sode, but not a regular episode.

I view it as the same show, after all it's a coninuation but yes aside from the minisode they haven't been used since the show returned.

But it's been the same with the other charcters

The Master returned 2007 last seen 1996
Davros returned 2008 last seen 1988
The Ice Warriors returned 2013 last seen 1974 ( I think)
The Great Intelligence returned 2012 last seen 1968 (I think)

So it's not like we haven't seen this sort of thing before where something is brought back from the original show. They've just slowly re-introduced some elements from earlier in the shows history over the course of the 10 years it has been back on air.

Yeah in the regular episode. I understand why they couldn't for Night of the Doctor, but if we don't go see them in the premiere (And I was told we will so this is mute anyway), I'll be disappointed given the prequel was used to set up the season.
