    It's kind of an awkward situation. I could see fans of the books being extremely irritated, but had they not given this credit, wouldn't the same people be saying the show "stole ideas"?

    I do vaguely recall promotional material for the show slowly devolving from "Based on the books by Terry Pratchett" to "Inspired by the books by Terry Pratchett." :lol:

    The last trailer I saw never even mentioned Pratchett.

    If they minimized the connection, their IMDb rating would probably be 2.5 points higher.
