Battlestar Galactica Movie News.

As someone who was a fan of both the cheesy 70s and grim recent version I would like to see a movie trilogy which has aspects of both...but dems like this project has been in limbo a while and doubt any movie will come out before 2018

I would hate to see Battlestar Galactica be re-imaged again, but that is because I loved Moore's version so much.

Won't it? I haven't been able to find any of my Prime Universe Star Trek material since the Abrams movies were released.

I know!

*Goes to BCC America and watch hours of TNG*

Tetris is supposed to be getting a sci-fi movie trilogy so why BSG can't get remade into one I don't get.

Movie 1 is clearly the attack on the colonies.
Movie 2 is them on the run looking for Earth.
Movie 3 is them fighting back and finding Earth.

If we get a BSG movie i hope they keep the Cylons as cold, merciless killing robots. I could'nt get into the new BSG as having the Cylons look like humans just didn't work for me.

Even the Bryan Singer continuation of the original show they were planning in 2000-2001 were going to have skin jobs.

Saves on money.

Maybe in about 2yrs let's see what JJ Abrams is up to. He seems to be the go to guy for legacy sic-fi material of late. :shifty:

Humanoid Cylons go all the way back to BSG1980.

Hang on a minute. TETRIS?!? :guffaw:

How the hell can they make 1 movie out of little colored blocks falling from the sky, let alone THREE?

I think everybody except the people working on the movies have been having that thought every time the movies are mentioned.

Well then the next move is obvious:

Gauntlet: The Motion Picture.

Complete with random voices coming out of nowhere making smartass comments like "Ohhhh...someone shot the food!" :D
