I didn't notice it till today, but BattleBots is back again.
The preliminaries have already aired last month and it looks like the producers have removed all the "reality tv" segments and more time is devoted to the actual fight itself. The 56 participating bots have already been whittled down to 48 bots, lots of destruction as usual.
The only rule change I noticed for this year is that quadcopter and drones are allowed. I'm kinda meh about as I don't think they'll be very useful. Quads can be taken down very easily just by damaging one rotor.
