At least it looks like a science fiction movie and it has Brea Grant from Heroes in it. The trailer reminds me of Enemy Mine.

Definitely reminds me of Enemy Mine too, but some of the designs also reminded me of Unreal 2.

The promo makes it look like fun, so I'm wondering whether to peek at it or not...They've fooled me too many times though, that I've avoided sampling any of these flicks for several months... At least the picture quality of the film/digital video they're using doesn't have that drab, greyish Yugoslavian look to it most of the promos of Sci Fi's made of tv flicks have.

Alas, it was pretty bad. It suffers from long stretches of people doing nothing which often happens in these low budget affairs. It was made extra annoying with a bit about the hero trapped in his protective suit by an overbearing AI that goes on for way way too long.

They did shoot a little higher than say "Grizzly" but even by low-budget standards it needed more.

Agreed...but it does get props for being , you know, an actual science fiction movie on Sci Fi, with no frickkin ghosts, demons, or giant insect/lizard/snake/other critters...

What I saw of it, it had this Space Precinct meets Hell Comes to Frog Town feel but without the b-grade charm of either of those concepts.

I watched it. the effects weren't too terrible except for the ridiculous rubber lizard about half way through... come on!
The lead dude did a good job and the makup and CG was good. Script was awful though. Same writer director. I will stay away from his films i think. Dumb fun was right on
