In the absence of Star Trek 2 a.k.a. Star Trek XII, we'll be using Master and Commander as a stand-in. I've never seen it before. Yes, I know... So I'm trusting those who've given it good word-of-mouth.

The winners of the previous rounds:

1. Goldeneye
2. Star Trek: First Contact
3. The World Is Not Enough
4. Star Trek: Nemesis
5. Batman Begins

#3 and #4 look out of place, don't they? But anyway, let's get the voting in this round started!

The Dark Knight, easily.

The other two are decent movies. However, they simply can't compete with The Dark Knight.

Quantum of Solace is second, but it gets dragged down by it's rather annoying camera work and other technical problems.

Master and Commander
was.... okay, I guess. It wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. It just didn't blow me away, which is sad because I usually love high seas adventure stories (especially ones set during the Napoleonic Wars).

I'll go with Quantum of Solace. It isn't a perfect movie, but I think it was unfairly criticized when it was released. It's a good follow up to Casino Royale and I hope Quantum doesn't go unused in further movies, even if they won't appear in Skyfall.

The Dark Knight is thematically rich, and features a great performance from Heath Ledger, but it also operates on silly comic book logic, perhaps even more so than its predecessor. It'll win here, but I'll cast the vote against it. Which is not to say that I don't like the movie; as far as superhero pictures go, it's hard to beat.

Seconded

Master and Commander is one of the best Trek films never made, and proves you can have kick arse sea battles, human drama and exploration all in the same film.

QoS is vastly underrated, and frankly The Dark Knight is a tad overrated (not to mention overlong) Still it is the best of the three, but for me not by as much as otheres obviously think.

Thirded.

It's a choice between TDK and M&C for me. Wasn't keen on QoS, though M&C doesn't look as good on the small screen as it does on the big screen.

My vote goes to The Dark Knight. Quantum of Solace was okay, but not great, and I've never seen Master and Commander.
