In theory.^^
They've made more than enough to make more movies. That's really all fans should worry about.

It's 2016, anything under a billion is a letdown for a 200+ million dollar movie.

WB can spin this all the want, but in reality, it's probably a total nuthouse over there right now.
It is the era of superheros, worst case scenario is a reboot. Green Lantern was a disaster at the boxoffice, but it still doesn't mean they've given up on the character.^^
They're not gonna stop making superhero movies unless several of them bomb in succession.
Nope. 15 movies broke 1 billion in the last 5 years alone. 15.This is ridiculous. it's more common, but its still fairly rare for a movie to make a billion $.
Um...yup. In all of history only 24 movies have done it. Higher ticket prices, and a few affluent developing nations like China are starting to skew the statistics to it becoming common, but it's still not yet. The USA releases maybe 500-600 movies a year..other countries release 1000s. Out of that number maybe 1 to 3 a year are now hitting that total. So yes, it's still pretty rare.Nope.
15 of which did it over the last 5 years. 5 of them in 2015 alone. You basically made my point for me.Um...yup. In all of history only 24 movies have done it.

I did. Did you read mine? The one you called ridiculous, for stating that in 2016, a 200+ million dollar movie (meaning a 200+ mil. budget) is a letdown if it doesn't cross 1 bn?Did you read my post at all??
Anything that Miller has a character do says more about Miller than the character.
And? Deadpool cost a fifth as much to make and doesn't feature DC's three biggest hitters. If BvS didn't beat it, there'd be something seriously wrong. It also is going to surpass media and fan darling Deadpool by Monday.
Deadpool also happens to be R-rated.And? Deadpool cost a fifth as much to make and doesn't feature DC's three biggest hitters. If BvS didn't beat it, there'd be something seriously wrong.

Yeah... no I didn't. But hey, only a total loser (sorry, had to edit that from idiot; wherever would have I gotten the idea to do that?!) would decide to lie after making it abundantly clear that they hadn't. Amirite?
Good point!Deadpool also happens to be R-rated.
Deadpool also was in release for 56+ days. BvS...16 days as of today. And? Deadpool cost a fifth as much to make and doesn't feature DC's three biggest hitters. If BvS didn't beat it, there'd be something seriously wrong.
BvS is already earning less each subsequent week than Deadpool did at the same point, which isn't great for them. Good thing the film opened super-hard. (Benefit of opening worldwide simultaneously.)
