"Batman 3" and "Superman" both in 2012 -- and in IMAX?

The statements are difficult to reconcile since your first guess is likely to be someone a lot of people have thought of for the role. My first guess of a popular TV actor people would be thrilled to see in the part is Jon Hamm (although, again, a lot of people have thought of him in this regard). The studio would probably prefer to go younger, but Hamm would be an immensely popular choice.

Actually, the way it's written almost does seem to make Tom Welling sound logical. No one is thinking of him maybe might mean that no one expects him to cross over to a costumed Superman on the big screen, but "everyone" (of the Smallville fans) would certainly be thrilled if he did. Interesting...

People are disagreeing with you and having a polite discussion about it? What's the problem?

I am having a bad year...my apologies. But like a handful of people kinda made the same point and by then...I think I got it. :bolian:

Says our insider, "[He's a] popular TV actor that no one is thinking of, but everyone will be thrilled with if he pulls on the blue tights"

Your first guess is likely the right one.

Jon Hamm

If he's a popular TV actor but no one is thinking of him for Superman, then does that rule out John Hamm, Matthew Bomer and anyone else whose name has been thrown around? Who would that leave?

Kyle Chandler? Mark Valley? Nathan Fillion? Charlie Sheen? John Krasinski? George Eads?

Or.... "Despite what just happened here, flying is still.... (puts on sunglasses) ....the safest form of travel."

YYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
