The problem with the thread title is that it implies a recent event. If it were "Actors that you might not've realized had passed on" then it would be fine. As-is, the title is like, "Richard Nixon has died......" and so has Mao Zedong....

That's a fair point.

Maybe a catch-all thread would be more workable?

By putting it that way, I hoped to engender the kind interest it might have gotten if it had been reported in a timely manner.

That's how I see it as well. I really appreciate the information of his passing, but the wording is kind of misleading.
