Bargain!

Hmm there is a Fopp around the corner from my work.

Lunchtime plans sorted then.

FOPP in Edinburgh has a reputation for bargains but every time I went in there the prices were either comparable to HMV/Virgin or just ridiculously bloated, so I haven't been back in a while. Might have to check it out again.

Well I don't want FOPP, goddammit! I'm a Dapper Dan™ man! :D

(sorry, someone had to say it :p)

Certainly the Edinburgh one serves no purpose but to house HMV's excess stock, but I'll go shortly and see what Dr Who bargains they have.

Edit:

Edinburgh Fopp has War Machines, Robot, Time Warriors, McGann Film and a few others I can't remember for £3 each.

Looks like Edinburgh has the same deals and selection as Glasgow.

Though I'll agree on the bloated prices. When I looked for other DVD's they were ridiculously overpriced. I just grabbed the who and ran. I might pick up some more today.

*sigh* Wish we had something like that here in the states. Sure we have used book and video stores, but usually all they have is picked over crap.

My best bet has always been Amazons 'New & Used' listings.

Fopp's just moved into our town. :wtf: Into the store vacated by HMV. Which moved into the store vacated by Zavvi. It opened up about a week after I read about its existence in this thread. I love it when the internet and RL collide! Going into the check out their WHo deals.
