Since I was silly enough to (not) volunteer, I hereby obey PKTrekGirl and bring us our new hangout.

You all know the drill. Continuing a tradition first established some time ago as Niners counted the nanoseconds until the DVD releases, this is the sixth (I think) thread for Niners, honorary Niners (are there any other than me around here? :lol:), and hangers-on to discuss what we're watching, what's happening, and generally get to know each other a bit better. We don't spam. We talk. We hang out together. And we have fun in one of the best-run forums on this board. :D

Take it away, people.

OZ - Farscape does rock. A few weeks ago I brought the first part of the Peacekeeper Wars. That was cool. I was annoyed that I didn't have the second part, but I'll find it one day.
 
I wish I was able to post something to end mine but I guess it wasn't ment to be. No thread I've started has gone past a thousand, so that was kinda special (In a I'll get over it in the morning kind of way :D ) that it did. It was fun while it lasted.

As for this one, yey, new bar. :D

As for Farscape, yeah it does rock.
 
I just started watching Farscape and its one of those things (along with both Stargates) that I can't figure out how I've missed out on this before.

Unfortunately, getting two episodes out of order each week in syndication isn't conducive to getting the whole story. I'm not ready to go out and buy the DVDs yet, unless I really get hooked.
 
Give it a while, Thena. It can be a bit of an acquired taste, but the rewards are great if you give it a go. :thumbsup:

tomalak, I know what you mean. My first version of this thread was the only one I've ever started that made it to a third page. :lol:

Love Erica Durance, and it was cool to finally see Margot Kidder's guest appearance!

Yeah, Farscape does rock. Not as much as DS9 though. ;)

Anyway, people are talking about Smallville so I thought I'd chime in. Smallville to me, is one of those that I actually watch and I'm not quite sure why. A lot of the episodes are boring and the whole Clark and Lana thing got annoying after a few weeks of S1 lol. Still, there's some cool things about it like Lex and Lionel and of course Chloe and Lois. I actually really like those four characters.

Anyway, I'll drink to the new thread. :) *gets some bloodwine*

We can ask PKTrekGirl to give you the super-secret initiation ceremony/kegger if you'd like to be a true-blooded Niner.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the post counts in these big threads for a while, and last night I all of a sudden realized that I had to (*gasp*) do some actual work around here. :lol:

I'm not really used to doing work, so it sorta snuck up on me. :p

Anyway, let me know if you want me to reopen it for you.

Or in the alternative, when this thread reaches about 980, just start staying up all night so that the crazy Aussie won't be the only one I trust who happens to be hangin' around when I slam this puppy shut. :cool:

Don't worry about it. We have the new one so it's time to move on. I'm just glad mine got closed after a thousand and not before. ;)
