Background actor/extra: Record for most times shot without dying?

As I've been rewatching ENT for the past few weeks, I've noticed that "That MACO Chick"™ (Private Money) gets shot in basically every single episode she's in.

Given the Redshirt track record in Trek history, that's quite an achievement. To think that she's not even mentioned once in the credits! I say give the woman a medal.

Come to think of it, I can't be the first one to notice that - did anyone actually check whether she's holding the record for highest survivability amongst extras in Trekdom? Anyone keeping track of stats like that?

I did an avatar for her a while back.

As I was making the screencaps, I noticed how often she got shot. I would say she is far and away the stunt extra who got shot the most without dying. I can just see Deadrick having a laugh over it each time he choreographed a gunfight - "Hey, Dorenda, you wanna get shot again? You'll get a great close-up. And Archer will drag you to safety this time, okay?..."

But hey, it was screen time, and a paycheck. All power to her.

There was a redshirt on TOS who went down a lot... Shatner's stunt double, I think, but he had a line of dialogue here and there. I think he died a lot, though.

That is pretty amazing. I'd have to believe that she holds the record for non-main characters. Hell, usually if an extra or recurring character gets merely grazed by a phaser blast, they're dead instantly.

However, I feel that I would be remiss if I wasn't to point out Mr. Leslie from TOS - the only redshirt to have died and then resurrected himself.

You'd think they would have put him in a blue or gold shirt after he died, to make some effort to change his identity...but I guess the red-shirt mystique just couldn't be messed with.

Seriously, not all the people who filled the role of a redshirt perfectly wore red shirts.
