Actually, Kirk says to Kruge, "I need a minute to inform my crew" to which Kruge replies with magnanimous sarcasm, "I give two minutes, for your gallant crew"

Then after that two minutes was up, during which Kirk discusses with Sulu and the others about the opponent's ship and crew, Kirk announces that he will let Kruge's boarding party come onto the Enterprise, to which Kruge then says "No tricks, Kirk! You have one minute!" to which Kirk concurs with "No tricks. I look forward to meeting you" and then starts the self-destruct sequence.

Actually it was Spock to Kirk at the end of TSFS. In TWOK Spock says: 'I have been and ALWAYS shall be your friend'
