Sorry to disappoint you but in looking at the sample page they've posted it looks like the license doesn't lapse until the middle of the year. It seems a bit odd that WB approved something like this but <shrug> it's not something that anybody needs to go running to JMS over.

There are now no B5 prose or gaming markets if Mongoose gives up the license. No more new B5 novels (good, bad or indifferent).

Any chance that Mongoose would actually publish any B5 novels died two years ago, when Matthew Sprange posted the following on Mongoose's BBS:

Not minding being a guinea pig, I got the pdf.

For a completist or someone who likes to collect odd things, it's ok and definitely cheaper than buying the book from Claudia's site. But, it's really not all that and that money would be spent picking up any of the three B5 trilogies ( Technomage, Centauri, Psi Corps) on ebay.
