Apparently the Ground Worker, she had Multiple Schlerosis, was intoxicated with THC at the time of the incident where she got sucked into the Jet Engine, and a history of negligence for safety protocols.

Also, the Ground Crew isn't subject to Drug Testing like the pilots by the NTSB.

NTSB needs to change that rule, and everybody should be drug tested, period.

Also if MS is affecting her mental functions, that could create severe mental impairment along with Cannabis that leads to her making a fatal mistake like getting in the danger zone of a Jet Engine intake.

Also, ground crew needs more Safety Training on the dangers of operating with Aircraft and to consistently be more vigilant.

We don't need another incident of a person being turned into "Chunky Salsa" via Jet Engine.

Another tragedy

Was that a Boeing Aircraft?
Update 1): Nevermind, it was a Boeing Aircraft, but it was also a BirdStrike incident.

The Aircraft Belly Flopped onto the Runway after getting hit by Birds.

I have never fully trusted twinjets…I get the economics…still.

Had this been a tri-jet at least—with a flight engineer to help with work load—this tragedy likely never happens.

The 727 that the Discovery Channel crashed *on purpose* had less damage…of course, what we saw here was essentially a repeat of the 9/11 Pentagon strike with nothing much left but confetti.

That was faster so even the tail vanished—something to point out to 9/11 “truthers.”

The loss of the Flying Fortress due to a collision shows how something that looks mighty and solid can instantly turn into what looks like wispy gold leaf…

Luckily no deaths
don't know about the 3 with critical injuries as that's not being reported here and as be the news 2 mins ago only people remain in hospital.

Been pointed out the aircraft didn't flare and it was a hard landing which would explain the apparent collapse of the right hand main gear which would have dug the wing in causing the flip.

It has been a bad streak of such incidents...the Medjet crash, the Blackhawk collision...I am hearing scuttlebutt that radar altimeters have trouble with river waters---salt content or lack thereof.

maybe you should try reading and researching yourself rather the listen to scuttlebutt.

radar altimeters have been used for decades and it there was issue it would be well and truly out there.

Sigh…
