Maybe Storm, the Beast and Wolverine can form the X-vengers. Did Quicksilver ever join the X-Men? If so, toss him in as well.

I don't think Pietro was ever in the X-Men, but he was in X-Factor for a little while. Does that count?

Here's the coverage from the conference call...and man this gets exciting. Bendis confirmed that Avengers: X-Sanction is a prelude to Avengers Vs X-Men among other things. They also stated when asked about Jean that we should keep our eyes on Hope.

I know Marvel wants to do this as an event written by all of their "Architects", but it's a shame that Kieron Gillen-- the writer of "Uncanny" (in my mind, the franchise flagship book)-- isn't involved. I like his writing far more than Aaron or Fraction. As for Hickman, as much as I like him, he has never written for either The X-Men or The Avengers.

Kieron will probably write the Uncanny tie-in issue. No doubt there will be a barrage of them.

I think Quicksilver was originally going to be in Chuck Austen's line up, however there were plans to use him in Avengers I think and so he was replaced with Northstar.

Pietro was however an X-men in Age of Apocalypse I think. But that doesn't really count as it's an alternate timeline.
