I'm told this is the place to come re Avengers movie?

Not only will the rumor that Nathan Fillion will be Ant-Man not die, it's got a mate: Eva Longoria-Parker for The Wasp.
The Wasp would be unrecognizable without Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Goliath/Yellowjacket. Or would she be unrecognizable period?

What would a dangerous housewife bring to the mix?

Eva Longoria has not been approached to be Wasp.

So, while she is saying she will not be Wasp the second part of her statement is what perks me up.
"I had taken a meeting about a different movie at Marvel, and that’s where the rumor started,"

So she was at the Marvel Studio offices and did meet with them for a part, just not for Avengers and not Wasp.
That causes me to be curious which of the announced 'smaller budgeted' films that Marvel is looking to do might she be up for? Runaways perhaps? Is there a main adult role in that saga she could play? A role in the Punisher film?

I did think that but it only works if Marvel had the rights which they don't.
Columbia still has them and they are intending a Ghost Rider 2.

Hmmm, nobody has picked up on this tidbit yet.

There were even hints to what the plot and villain of the film would be, as the fabled Infinity Gauntlet -- a powerful device in Marvel lore -- was unveiled for five minutes at the Marvel booth. The most famed wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet? The mad titan Thanos.

Who the heck could they get to play Thanos??? :eek: Think of the biggest guy around...Gerard Butler? At least that would keep him out of rom-coms.

As for the Wasp discussion, I'd love to see Elizabeth Moss in the role, but she isn't a big enough movie name...

I'd go for Micheal Ironside myself, he already has a good enough voice for Darkseid (whom Thanos is based off of) and could play him physically.

It's been speculated that Colm Feore's role in Thor, which has gone persistently unidentified past the point where all the other principals have gotten names, etc., is as Thanos.

The characters being considered for inclusion are: Captain Marvel (an amalgam of Mar-Vell and Noh-Varr), Adam Worlock, Black Bolt and Nova.

Warlock, dammit! But I'll overlook the typo for my favorite character of all time. Jim Caveziel is the obvious choice for him. Matthew Fox for Black Bolt and Ryan McPartlin (we'll find a role for him yet!) as Captain Marvel.
